Check it with ANAC
On the ANAC Voe Seguro lookup, the registration PT-VLR shows whether the aircraft is authorized for air taxi.
Why the registration lets you check
A registration identifies one specific aircraft, not just the model. In Brazil every civil aircraft has its own, recorded with ANAC, and it is painted on the aircraft itself. Two aircraft of the same model have different registrations.
That is why the registration works as a key: whoever types it into the lookup sees what is on record for that aircraft, not for a similar one. This holds for any air taxi company. Ask for the registration before you hire.
- Open the Voe Seguro lookup on the ANAC website.
- Paste or type the registration PT-VLR and click Pesquisar (Search).
- The lookup shows the aircraft and the Florais status. A search by CNPJ (the Brazilian company tax ID) shows only the company and the model.

What a twin piston aircraft is
It is an aircraft with two piston engines, each turning its own propeller. The Seneca III is of this kind.
Twin: two engines
Twin means the aircraft has two engines, one on each wing, each with its own propeller.
Piston: the kind of engine
A piston engine works on the same principle as a car engine: fuel burns inside cylinders, pushes the pistons, and that motion turns the propeller. Jets and turboprops use a different kind of engine.
In practice, for passengers
It is a small aircraft with few seats: the public ANAC lookup lists up to 5 passengers. The flight is chartered, with no fixed schedule and no fixed stops.
